By the time they reach Under 14s, players are really coming into their own — both as individuals and as teammates. With some having several years of contact rugby experience behind them, they’re tackling confidently, making smarter decisions, and working together with growing instinct and understanding. Those that don't have the full support of their team mates and coaches, helping their knowledge and development.

At this stage, players start to grasp the flow of the game on a deeper level — knowing when to pass, when to run, and how to support each other in the heat of the moment. It’s fantastic to see them read the game with real awareness and play with purpose.

Even as their skills and tactics sharpen, what stays at the heart of everything is our commitment to making sure every player feels welcome, supported, and enjoys their time on the pitch. Whether they’ve been with BBOB from the start or are new to the club, there’s always space to learn, grow, and have fun playing rugby together.
