Under 9s is where things start to get really exciting — it’s the first step into contact rugby, and the kids absolutely love it. Whether they’ve been with us since minis or are just joining now, everyone’s encouraged to give it a go and enjoy learning together.

Tackling is introduced gradually and safely, with a big focus on confidence, technique, and respect. There’s still plenty of fun, games, and muddy knees, but you can really see them starting to grow — not just as players, but as teammates too.

We make sure every player feels supported, included, and part of the team, no matter their experience. It’s all about learning new skills, backing each other, and building that brilliant BBOB spirit that carries through every age group.
