By the time they reach Under 8s, the kids are really starting to find their rhythm — whether they’ve been playing for a couple of years or are brand new to the game. This is the age where things start to click: the passes are sharper, the tags are quicker, and the idea of playing as a team really starts to come together.

We’re still all about fun, friendship, and muddy socks — but there’s a growing buzz when something goes right, like a great tag or a well-timed pass. It’s such a great age to see confidence building, both on and off the pitch.

Whether your child’s been playing since they could run or is just curious to give rugby a try, they’ll be welcomed with big smiles and plenty of encouragement. There’s room for everyone here, and we love seeing new faces become part of the BBOB family.
