As we come hurtling toward the big man coming down the chimney, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of myself and everyone at the club, to thank all those who joined us for our Christmas Party and supported the many festive events we held throughout December.

It has been wonderful to see the clubhouse filled with such warmth, laughter, and Christmas spirit over the past few weeks. Our Christmas Jumper Day was a particular highlight, with players, members, and families embracing the fun by wearing their most festive, creative, and downright outrageous jumpers. The colour and cheer on display truly set the tone for the season.

Our Christmas Party itself was a fitting way to round off the month — a chance to come together, reflect on the year gone by, and celebrate the sense of community that makes this club so special. Seeing players, parents, members, sponsors, and supporters all under one roof was a proud moment and a reminder of the strong foundations on which the club continues to grow.

The festive atmosphere continued with carol singing, bringing everyone together in true Christmas tradition, while the ever-popular Christmas meat raffle added excitement and friendly competition. Alongside festive crafts and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy, making our events welcoming and inclusive for all ages.

Another standout moment was our Mince Pie Competition, which once again showcased the enthusiasm and generosity of our club community. With entries ranging from homemade masterpieces to shop-bought favourites, the judging panel had no easy task. Congratulations must go to Roxana, whose mince pies impressed across effort, appearance, and taste to be crowned our Mince Pie Champion.

Thank you to everyone who attended, helped organise events, donated prizes, brought food, and supported the club throughout the festive season. Your commitment, generosity, and continued presence mean more than I can say.
